Galaxy phones and tablets will get One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 very soon. The One UI 6.1.1 version has been announced by Samsung on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Now they will be preparing to release the update for supported Galaxy devices. However, the rest of the eligible Galaxy devices do not get to taste One UI 6.1.1 just yet as it is being held back for a while longer by the Korean giant.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will boot One UI 6.1.1 out-of-the-box. Galaxy users are waiting for the next vision in terms of software. Samsung is getting ready to introduce Android 15-based One UI 7 on the other end. But the release of One UI 6.1.1 will decide when to start in on scheduling for One UI 7.

Before, it was accounted for that the brand would dispatch the One UI 6.1 update to more seasoned Galaxy gadgets by July end, which wound up being an off-base report. Now it looks like the Galaxy S24 will be up for One UI 6.1.1 soon.

Well, a reliable X tipster—Tarun Vats—has posted an interpretation of the existing data that Samsung allegedly pushed shorts on YouTube from their official account. This is a One UI 6.1.1-only feature.

The implication made by the post is clear, which Samsung might release One UI 6.1.1 to Galaxy S24 sooner rather than later. If this report holds up, it may not be long before One UI 7 is able to come its way too after this update. But Samsung has now confirmed the exact date of when both will be released.
