Oppo Find X8 Mini to Launch With the Find X8 Ultra Model, Tipster Claims

Oppo might soon expand its Find X8 lineup with the addition of a compact model, the Oppo Find X8 Mini, according to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social platform Weibo.

This new model is expected to launch alongside the flagship Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which is also rumored to be in development. If released, the Oppo Find X8 Mini would be the fourth device in the Find X8 series, joining the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and the anticipated Find X8 Ultra.

Though Oppo has not yet confirmed any details about the Find X8 Ultra or the rumored Find X8 Mini, the latter could be designed to compete directly with the recently launched Vivo X200 Pro Mini.

Vivo compact smartphone, the X200 Pro Mini, was launched in China in October and features high-end specifications, including a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It also boasts an impressive camera setup, with three 50-megapixel rear cameras (primary, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto) and a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Vivo X200 Pro Mini comes with up to 1TB of storage and is powered by a 5,700mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. It includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 15 with Vivo’s custom OriginOS 5 skin.

If Oppo does indeed release the Find X8 Mini, it would likely target a similar high-performance, compact market segment as Vivo’s X200 Pro Mini, appealing to users who want flagship features in a smaller form factor.
