Redmi A4 and Xiaomi 15 debuted in China last month while the Redmi Note 14 series has been available in China for even longer. Now, all these phones are finally going to launch in India. The company has disclosed this in an interview with BW Businessworld centred around Xiaomi India President Muralikrishnan B leaving the top post. Redmi A4 India launch timeline, price, specs (expected)
- India launch: The Redmi A4 will launch in India in November.
- Specs: It is touted as the first Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone in the country. The phone is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh cell supported by 18W charging, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, an Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0, a side-facing fingerprint reader and USB-C port.
- Price: The rumours suggest the phone could start below Rs 10,000.

Redmi Note 14 series India launch timeline, price, specs (expected)
- India launch: The Redmi Note 14 series will launch in India in December. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed the series could hit the stores in between January 10th and 15th.
- Price: In China, the Redmi Note 14 starts at RMB 1199 (about Rs 14,300) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. Meanwhile, the Pro model with 8GB + 128GB memory begins at RMB 1499 (about Rs 17,900), and the Pro+ model with 12GB + 256GB memory starts at RMB 1,999 (about Rs 23,900).
- Redmi Note 14: The vanilla model packs a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, 5110mAh battery, 45W fast charging speed, a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED panel, a 50MP main camera, and Android 14-based HyperOS.
- Redmi Note 14 Pro: This model has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, a 50MP main camera, a 5,500mAh cell with 45W wired charging, an IP68/69K ingress rating, a similar-sized panel as above but with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, 5,500mAh+ 55W charging, and the same OS.
- Redmi Note 14 Pro+: You get a larger 6,200mAh battery with 90W charging, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, a 50MP telephoto sensor, similar ingress protection, display specs, and OS as the Pro model.
Xiaomi 15 India launch timeline, price, specs (expected)
- India launch: Xiaomi 15 won’t be launching before March 2025.
- Price: In China, the phone retailed at a starting price of CNY 4,499 (about Rs 52,994).
- Specs: You could expect a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 5,400mAh battery with 90W charging, Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, a 6.36-inch OLED with 3,200 nits peak brightness, IP68 dust and water resistance, and 50MP triple rear camera setup.
Muralikrishnan B transition: what’s next
Muralikrishnan B. is stepping down as President of Xiaomi India to assume a strategic advisor role. He will focus on his PhD studies at the Indian School of Business. Xiaomi aims for a seamless transition of his responsibilities to the newly appointed COO, Sudhin Mathur.
