Vivo Y300 5G price in India and specifications leak ahead of launch 2024

Vivo Y300 5G is set to launch in India on November 21st and will arrive as a successor to the Vivo Y200. The company has been pretty vocal in revealing the design of the phone. Before tomorrow’s launch event, 91mobiles Hindi has now exclusively revealed the Vivo Y300 5G price in India. This comes after the key hardware details were leaked last week.

Vivo Y-series is the brand’s mid-range lineup that claims to offer good camera performance and elegant designs.

According to the report (citing what looks like an internal promotional material), the Vivo Y300 5G will be offered in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
The Vivo Y300 5G base model can be purchased at Rs 21,999, while the 256GB model could cost Rs 23,999.

For comparison, the Vivo Y200 launched in India at Rs 21,999 for the single 8GB/128GB variant.
The Vivo Y300 will be available in three colours: Titanium Silver, Phantom Purple, and Emerald Green, as per another image in the report.

Vivo Y300 specifications (expected)

Besides price, the image also reveals the specifications of the phone. The report also includes another image that lists the upgrades of the Vivo Y300 over the Vivo Y200.

Display: The Vivo Y300 could sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ 2.5D AMOLED display a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. There could be an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
Processor: The handset is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. For comparison, the Vivo Y200 came with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset.
Memory: There could be 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
Camera: The phone may feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary and a 2MP bokeh sensor on the back. It could have a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The renders show the phone will feature a glowing LED ring below the camera sensors.
In comparison, the Vivo Y200 featured a 64MP + 2MP dual camera setup and a 16MP front camera.
Battery: The Vivo Y300 could house a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. For context, the Vivo Y200 has a 4800mAh battery and 44W fast charging.

The comparison image highlights the Vivo Y300 will come with stereo speakers compared to the single speaker on the Vivo Y200. The fast charging and battery department will also see a sizeable upgrade. Unlike the predecessor, the Vivo Y300 could get an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance and new AI features. The front camera also sees an upgrade.
