
Bharti Airtel has revised the benefits of its Value Pack: Rs 509 and Rs 1,999 in India. These plans no longer offer data benefits and come with only voice and SMS options. The change comes after TRAI ordered telecom operators to offer special voice and SMS-only tariffs for those seeking calling benefits. Apart from Airtel, Jio is also reportedly revising its value packs.
Changes have been made in Airtel’s Rs 509 and Rs 1,999 plans.

Airtel’s Rs 509 plan
- Airtel originally offered Rs 509 6GB data, 100 sms every day And unlimited voice calls For any network. this is one 84 days validity,
- Rs 509 plan after revision No longer comes with any data benefits And only offers unlimited voice calls and 900 SMS. validity remains unchanged,

- Additional rewards include Airtel Xstream app, Apollo 24/7 circle subscription and free Hello Tunes.
- For those who need data benefits, there is currently a Rs 489 pack that offers 77 days validity, unlimited calls, 600 SMS and 6GB high-speed data.
Airtel’s Rs 1,999 plan
- Similarly, the Rs 1,999 plan introduced earlier24gb of high-speed data, unlimited voice calls And Benefits of SMS,

- After the amendment, the scheme now offers only 3,600 sms And voice calling options for customers and no data benefitsvalidity is now 365 days,
- Additionally, this plan offers access to Airtel Xstream, Apollo 24/7 Circle subscription, free caller tune, and Airtel spam detection.
- Currently, there is no similar plan with data benefits listed on the Airtel website. It remains to be seen whether Airtel will introduce a new pack to compensate for the revision in the Rs 1,999 pack.
