Dell latitude is a business-oriented laptop, opposite inspiron or XPS, which is targeted on the mainstream user. If I want to give a point of comparison, it competes more with Acer travel or HP aletebook rather than Acer Swift or HP jealousy. So, this review will be slightly different. I used this laptop for about two weeks as my primary function laptop, to see how well it can work for a business user.

Design, construction and connectivity

Closing things with design, we have a minimum design for the board room perfect. The entire laptop has a Titan gray finish, which has a signature color for several del laptops. A lot of people can tell that it is a dale laptop from a distance, and this is a good thing. You also have a del logo at the center of the lid. Raise the lid, and you are welcomed with a 14-inch anti-glare display.

Kaj is very strong, in which there is almost no wavering of performance. You cannot lift the lid with a finger without staggering the laptop, which can disturb a very small set of people. But overall, the hinge is very strong, and while the performance does not go back all the way, these are very good angles for everyday use. When the display is open, it also helps to raise the laptop slightly for good airflows and makes a minor tilt in the keyboard for a good typing experience when placed on the table.

The next is the keyboard, which is not a full size, but enough for a comfortable typing experience. The keys have a good amount of travel and reaction, so if you write long documents or emails, the keyboard is good. It is a backlit keyboard, and you have two glitter settings for backlighting. I mostly left it to the most bright option and forgot about it because it is not very bright to obstruct its experience in a dark room, yet all the keys are clearly bright enough to illuminate clearly, even though despite the status of light around you.

In terms of safe login, the laptop supports both fingerprint unlock through the power button, as well as thanks to Windows Hello for the IR webcam. Dale has also added a physical shutter to the webcam to keep your privacy in the check.

Going to the trackpad, while it is larger and easy to navigate with support for multi-friends, it is not the most smooth from there. As a productivity user, I always use an external mouse, so the minor “roughness” in the sense of trackpad did not harass me much. The trackpad is very responsible, but the new M4 MacBook Air or even Asus Vivoook 14 Flip as smooth, I recently reviewed. Note that these are not direct competition for the latitudes we are reviewing today, but simply approaches from different machines that I have used around the same time. Of course, this is a small part in an otherwise good experience.

Overall, the laptop is strong, with its aluminum construction. Smooth makes comfortable to type and carry its rectangular design with round edges.

Moving forward for connectivity, there is a 3.5 mm port with USB-C ports with SD card reader to the left of the laptop as well as USB-A port. Since it is a B2B laptop, an HDMI port would be good because I went to some meetings with this laptop, an HDMI cable was available for me to show the presentations, but most organizations still have not a “dongle” when a non-employee has come to present a PPT, and they cannot contain a performance. So you will need to take it with you all the time. There is an intake of fresh air to keep the laptop cool under the laptop, and rubber feet to ensure that there is enough space for airflow.

Display

The first thing that will stand out when using this display is the anti-glare layer. I use this laptop performance with a direct light source on my desk. I could have clearly seen the material clearly on performing the material, which is very good at an airport, in a meeting, in a cab, and in various offices with various light sources, and in all situations. This is a standard 14-inch 1200p 60Hz display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives you more space for your spreadsheet and large black bar when watching Netflix.

Performance angles are good for work. Some people had a PPT at my desk and we could all see it clearly. While watching movies, you will recall a little puncture display, but on Jiohotstar had a good experience on Binjing Laptop on some succession episodes. The refrese rate is 60Hz, which is fine for a productivity laptop, and while you want something more than Pixel Pepers in a FHD+ display, for most of us, it works.

Audio

Moving forward to the sound output, the laptop consists of two bottom-firing speakers, and when placed on a table, they look very decent. For video calls, they become really loud and clear and I found myself limited the volume to 50% while working with the solitude of my fort at home, with no atmosphere noise. However, in the office, 75–90% of the quantity was used to take a call. Watching movies and TV shows, dialogue clarity is clear, but there is nothing to write about the mixed audio house of bangs and thads of action films.

Display

Let’s get down to the stomach of the animal – Dale latitude 5455! Below is a look at some synthetic benchmarks of the Dell latitude 5455. We tested it in our benchmark suit, including Cinebench, Geekbench and 3 DiMarks. While some benchmarks such as Pcmark and 3DMark time did not run on spy ARM-based processors, everything else performed very well.

We have compared it to a similar price laptop, which includes Asus Vivobook 14 Flip operated by Intel Core Ultra 7-256V, Asas Zenbook A14 OLED, which is Qualcomm-Spoken but cheaper, and AMD-operated Vivobook S 14. Powering this dale.

While the Intel Core Ultra 7-256V-Operated Asus Battery takes cake for life, Dale latitude 5455 aligns with its peers. This is not bad, given how young Snapdragon X family is in laptop space.Talk of battery life…

Battery

You are not going to buy this laptop for its benchmark performance, so let’s go on some real -world performance. I could easily get 8-9 hours of working day on this laptop with 10–20% battery at the end of the day. However, if I have more than 2 hours of video calls a day, I have to resort to a little charger. During my time, I worked on a group of presentations, some acce worked, written a part of this review, written another review, replied to email, presented some PPT, and Google completed the call, while my 45 tabs are opened in Chrome.

I have the only recommendation whether you are using laptops on battery mode or plug in, keep the power mode for ‘best performance’ because switching to balanced or best power efficiency was left with me to be renewed and stutters. There are other clean -cruel tricks to help save the battery, such as when you look away, reducing the glow, using dark mode, reducing the shine of the screen, and so on, which work well.

The laptop also managed to play GTA V on average of 57fps, which is good if you want to play casual games on it. When I was a child, I played a lot of road rash on my father’s “work computer”, so I can imagine some children to take this laptop from my parents for a little casual gaming.

In real -world scenarios, help to find the work places in Copilot on the laptop, write emails, generate cat images, etc., to do fine work during my use. I also used Copilot to help creating a journey program for my recent Mumbai visit, and it worked as an intention.

Decision

If you are purely a professional user and receive this laptop from your employer, you should not have any real complaint. What the device has done for this is a very good build quality, a very good keyboard for typing content, an anti-glare display that works well in various lighting conditions, overall overall performance and a day-long battery works well in life. It is really light and comfortable to carry/use for long periods. Where it stumbles that the windows on the hand still have insects for iron outside, and it is a Qualcomm-Microsoft cheese to fix it. However, there are laptops in a uniform price range that provide better battery life, and my biggest grip is the lack of an HDMI port. To ask the price of 1,19,950 + taxes for the configuration made by me, it stands a tade, especially if you compare it with your lineup of del dale as well as the “non-business” laptop lineup of the competition. Then, they will not come up with Dell’s safety features such as Dell Safid and Secure Bios, which is a major factor for business users.
