In bid to increase user experience with new AI features and shortcuts, Google Gemini is allegedly working on a new shortcut. The “Talk Live About Screen” appears as a rectangular button in the lower left corner of the shortcut screen, which simplifies the process of starting interaction with Gemini Live. Google Gemini ‘Talk Live’ Screen ‘Shortcut Description
- Google App Researcher Associates Posted But X (East Twitter) that he saw this new shortcut, which is under development.
- In particular, the researcher activated the UI components for new inbound changes, allowing users to capture the screenshot and tap on a button to send directly to the Gemini Live Interface.
- This feature enables users to re -view their screen content during conversation with live after setting reference for further discussion.
- This update looks similar to the “Ask about the screen” and “Ask about the video” button that was seen in the previous release.
- More information about Mithun Shortcut is expected to come officially soon. However, there is no official confirmation about this upcoming Gemini shortcut.
It is worth noting that at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Tech veteran announced that Mithun Assistant can now work in several apps with the same prompt. Users can ask Gemini to complete the task by adding their requests to apps in apps such as YouTube, Google Maps and Gmail.
In particular, this new feature is made on the extension feature of Gemini, which was introduced in Google I/O 2024 in May. Additionally, Google has expanded Gemini Live to support images, videos and files.
