Tipster says that the iPhone 17 and air models will “have a simple 120Hz screen, but not a promotion adaptive refresh rate”.
This rumor is also interesting because Apple’s 120Hz screen thus was all promoted so far. The iPhone 17 Pro model is expected to continue shipping with the promotional screen.

Meanwhile, these new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 air displays will not be constantly and originally refreshed to match the frame of content output by GPU or system. They can switch to different stops like 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz.
