LG has refreshed its OLED TV lineup for 2025, launching significant progress in audio-visual performance, focusing a strong focus on AI-runament. The company is taking advantage of AI to improve efficiency, productivity and privatization. This has done its approach by branding as ‘affectionate intelligence’ – an AI is designed to be comfortable, sympathetic and responsible for the needs of the user.
Below, we detect AI characteristics of LG’s 2025 OLED TVS with the latest updates in webOS 25. But first of all, let’s take a close look at what is new in the five OLED models of this year.
LG OLED TV launched in 2025
LG OLED Evo G5
The LG G5 is called 3x Ujjwal compared to a traditional OLED TV panel, such as found on LG B5, which is at a 10 percent window. Considering the specific brightness of 600 notes of B-series OLED, more than three times this means 2,400 NITs. This is more than 1,500 NITs peak shine of LG G4. The G5 is also 40 percent brighter on 308 NITs compared to G4 on a full screen.
This is important because a bright screen can be helpful in understanding the contrast and providing better visibility in bright rooms. The environment of G5 analyzes light in the light compensation facility room and fixes the brightness to match the manufacturer’s intention in the filmmaker mode.
LG has used its latest alpha (α) 11 Gane 2 processor with G5, promising to improve overall brightness for all new brightness boosters ultimat technology. The technique includes better light control architecture, which has a four-stack tendom wold panel with a bottom-to-top blue-green-blue-red layer order. It is then aid by a mild-boosting algorithm. This stacked OLED structure lends better colored luminas with better white reproduction with better energy efficiency.
The LG Brightness Booster Ultimate appears to be a departure from the micro lens array (MLA) Tech, which is believed to be part of the previous LG Flagship OLED. In other words, LG G5 and M5 do not use.
Moving forward in gaming, the LG G5 is also the world’s first TV with a 165Hz refresh rate at the gameplay 4K. This is necessary for those who own the latest generation console or are planning to hook their high-end PCs. In addition, it is supported by high fresh rate AMD FREESYNC and Nvidia G-Sync. This not only helps to reduce the screen tearing, but also works rapidly while playing a book competitive title, as it allows for a smooth gaming experience. In addition, it also describes TV for the next-round console in the future.
However, note that both four-stacks and 4K+165Hz gameplay features are not part of the 48-inch model and 97-inch model of LG G5. Therefore, they are not bright or smooth as 55 inch, 65 inch, 77 inch and 83 inch models of TV.
For design, the LG G5 resembles a picture frame with very thin bezels, similar to Samsung’s The Frame series. In gallery mode, you can set a TV to display artwork from the built-in art gallery or even AI-borne pictures in standby mode. So the TV can look like an artpeace at home.
In terms of audio, TV Dolby Audio, and DTS supports X. In addition, the AI Sound Pro technique is asked to give a virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound experience. Regarding physical connectivity, we get four HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports HDMI EARC. Meanwhile, wireless connectivity is covered by support of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Finally, you get Webos 25, which is the latest version of OS that has been used by LG Smart TV for many years. The description of the new OS is given below.

Lg OLED Evo M5
The LG M5 is originally an LG G5 with a wireless design for a more aesthetically pleasing form. It has been postponed as the world’s first true wireless OLED TV, and is possible for a zero connect box, including three HDMI 2.1 inputs and wirelessly transmit audio videos on TV. However, note that the screen will still require a power cable. Nevertheless, if you do not like hanging wires and prefer a clean form, it is a better pick than the TV G5.
It is being said, note that the wireless transmission of the data leads to some limitations compared to the G5. For the beginning, the M5 provides’ 4K+144Hz variable refreshing rate (G-SYNC and FREESYNC certified). Which can be a lethargy for something.
Also note that the M5 is available in the same size of the LG G5, except for a 48 -inch version. Of these, only the 97 -inch version does not get the brightness booster ultimat panel. Like the G5, it has gallery design, alpha 11 Gen2 processor, Webos 25, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Audio, DTS: X, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Lg OLED Evo C5
LG C5 may not be the most powerful TV in the latest lineup of LG, but it is still very impressive. This Alpha 9 is powered by 9 General 8 processor, and its OLED panel comes without MLA and brightness booster ultimat technology. It is being said, it still comes with standard brightness booster tech and is available in 42 inch, 48-inch, 55 inch, 65 inch, 77-inch and 83-inch variants.
In terms of picture quality, the panel provides up to 4K resolution with a maximum refreshing rate of 144Hz. Apart from this, the TV Dolby Vision IQ also offers, which you can learn more here.
On the audio front, the TV includes Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD and AI Sound Pro mode, including virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound and voice removering for dialogue clarity. Among other things, TV also has four HDMI 2.1 port and webOS 25.
Lg OLED Evo B5
The LG B5 is the one that LG considers its affordable OLED offering in its 2025 lineup. The alpha comes with the 8 General 2 processor for the beginning, which is powerful enough to support the weboS 25 and 4K+120Hz refresh rate panels.
In terms of audio, consumers get support for Dolby Atomos and DTS-HD. Other features include brightness boosters, dolby vision IQ and four HDMI 2.1 ports. The TV is available in 48 inch, 55 inch, 65 inch and 77 inch models.
The LG has yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of LG G5, M5, C5 and B5. Once out, we will update this article with details.
LG Transparent OLED T2025
While TV’s LG G5 and LG M5 Gallery series are considered flagships, the 77-inch OLED is the most grand and avant-garden of the model lot. This is because the TV is completely transparent, which leads to a striking beauty. However, if necessary, users can turn on ‘opaque mode’, which improves the quality of view, raises a black contrast from the back.
Transparent OLED T TV has provided the alpha 11 processor and borrows a zero connect wireless connectivity box from LG OLED EVO M5 to complement its minimal aesthetics. The TV is available for $ 60,000 (about Rs 51,10,800) from LG or is the best purchase in the US. Its Indian availability has not been ascertained.

In addition to these three, users will still have access to old features such as AI Kansia, which can do things like making visuals accelerated through simple orders. AI is also the search feature that you can use to find materials in the innumerable streaming platforms. Other additions include the AI Picture Pro, which dynamically increases tone mapping and resolution of the material.
LG OLED panel types explained
Unlike traditional LCD panels, OLEDs have self-lit pixels and provide better black, contrast ratio, viewing angle and motion handling. However, it can be more expensive and is unsafe for burn-in risk.
LG’s OLED TVs are available in three versions. You have traditional OLED panels designed for cheap models such as LG B5. Then the LG OLED is the EVO panel, which appoints a dutarium (in place of hydrogen) blue filter and an additional green filter, resulting in greater brightness than the traditional OLED. It is used in high-end models such as LG G5, LG M5 and LG C5. Finally, LG Signature is OLED that brings bleeding-edge displays such as LG OLED T.
