Moto G Power 5G (2025) is believed to be in the works as a successor to the Moto G Power 5G (2024) model that debuted globally earlier this year. Back in August, 91mobiles exclusively shared the render of the phone, showing off the complete design. Now, we have spotted the Moto G Power 5G (2025) on the FCC certification, while the battery and charging adapter appeared on TUV Rheinland and UL Demko certifications. Here’s a rundown of everything that’s revealed from these listings.

The Moto G Power series is a mid-range offering from the brand with focus on battery, fast wired and wireless charging support, and performance.

Moto G Power 5G (2025) appears on various certification platforms

FCC

  • The FCC listing mentions the model number XT2515-1, which is believed to be the Moto G Power 5G (2025). The Moto G Power 5G (2024) bears the model number XT2415-1. The ’24’ and ’25’ possibly denote the year.
  • Besides the XT2515-1, the FCC document also has XT2515-2, XT2515-3, and XT2515V.
  • The listing says that there are four models for different markets and there will be no other differences among them, probably referring to the specifications.
  • The Moto G Power 5G (2024) was limited to North American markets. The successor may be expanded to other regions. It’s not clear whether India will be one among them.
  • The certification shows the Moto G Power 5G (2025) wireless charging has been tested with a wireless charger during the ‘EUT’ Operation test setup, which is usually a segment where the phone is tested during certification.
  • This could mean the phone may come with wireless charging support but the charging speed details are not listed at the moment. For context, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) supports 15W wireless charging.
  • The certification confirms connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth BR/EDR/LE, and GNSS/NFC/FM/WPT.

UL Demko and TUV

The Moto G Power 5G (2025)’s battery unit with the model number RW50 (as revealed by the FCC) appeared on the TUV Rheinland certification. The listing confirms the phone will have a 4850mAh rated capacity/ 5000mAh typical battery, similar to the predecessor. The TUV Rheinland certification mentions the manufacturer as SCUD (Fujian) Electronics Co., LTD.

The ML-201L, the charging adapter that was listed with the Moto G Power 5G (2025) on the FCC, appeared on the UL Demko platform. The listing confirms the Moto G Power charger will support a max 20W charging speed output. In comparison, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) featured 30W fast charging speed.

The Moto G Power 5G (2025) render showed the design of the phone is quite familiar. We see a square module on the back to house the camera sensors and an LED flash. There is the iconic Moto dimple on the rear. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge. The front has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and a display with flat edges and reasonably narrow bezels. The phone is seen in the purple colour option in the render.
