The folks at Gizmochina discovered the Flipkart listing during a Google search. The listing revealed the price for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model to be Rs 18,999. An asterisk next to this price suggests it might be an introductory offer or a price that includes a bank discount. The Moto G85 will officially launch in India on July 10th at 12 PM. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart, among other outlets.

Expected Specifications of the Moto G85

Here’s a closer look at the anticipated features of the Moto G85:

The Moto G85 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. The display may offer a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1600 nits brightness, SGS eye protection, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, 10-bit color support, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This is a notable upgrade from the Moto G84’s smaller, less bright display, which also lacked Gorilla Glass.

The phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. This chipset is expected to have a 5% faster clock speed compared to the Snapdragon 695 found in the Moto G84.

The Moto G85 may come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Additionally, it could feature a 24GB RAM Boost option for enhanced performance.

The rear camera setup might include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensor. For selfies, there could be a 32MP front camera, doubling the resolution of the Moto G84’s 16MP front camera.

The phone is expected to run on a near-stock version of Android 14 with Motorola’s My UX overlay.

The Moto G85 might be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W turbocharging. This is slightly faster than the charging speed of its Chinese variant and the Moto G84.

Additional features could include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and IP54 dust and water resistance.
