OnePlus has started rolling out the stable version of its brand new OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 12R. This update comes in just a few weeks after the company made the open beta available.
The update is being rolled out in all major regions, including India (CPH2585_15.0.0.200(EX01)), North America (CPH2611_15.0.0.200(EX01)), and EU/Global (CPH2609_15.0.0.200(EX01)). North American will get the update starting next week while devices in other regions are already receiving the update.
OxygenOS 15 brings with it a new design with updated animations and visual effects, as well as some new AI features. You can read our review of the update here.
If you are currently on the open beta release of OxygenOS 15 for the OnePlus 12R, there is no easy way for you to switch back to the stable version, something you hopefully already knew about before installing the beta. You will need to roll back from OxygenOS 15 beta to OxygenOS 14 stable using the links in the source. As usual, this process completely wipes the device and resets it to factory settings. You shall then be able to install the stable OxygenOS 15 release when it becomes available to your device.
The OnePlus 12R joins the OnePlus 12 as only the second product in the company’s lineup to get the OxygenOS 15 update. Meanwhile, the other products, including the flagship OnePlus Open, are still on the waiting list. The Open hasn’t even received the beta yet so we are not sure when it will be getting the stable version.
