Winner: OnePlus 13r
Telephoto
In this battle, both phones are equipped with a dedicated telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. OnePlus 13r captures 2x zoom shots at 47 mm, while the Vivo V40 Pro captures on 50 mm focal length.
The image captured from OnePlus 13R is slightly higher, while the Vivo V40 Pro is lost on the image expansion, especially in the background. However, colors on both are alive. He said, for better appeal to the image, OnePlus 13R wins in this round.

Winner: OnePlus 13r
Ultra wide
Coming into ultra-wide lenses, OnePlus 13R and Vivo V40 pro follow the same color tone as the main lens, but the V40 Pro is less aggressive with cold tons here. For details, the Vivo V40 Pro here is better thanks to the 50MP sensor than the 8MP ultravide camera of OnePlus 13R. The output of the OnePlus phone looks very soft while zoom in the shot.

Winner: Vivo V40 Pro
Picture
Portrait shots from both OnePlus 13R and Vivo V40 Pro are well wide. However, the Vivo smartphone becomes overboard with warmth and reduces the shade around the eyes slightly. Edge detection on OnePlus 13R is better because it correctly represents hair strands with better sharpness on the head. Compared to this picture, OnePlus 13R wins, although the Vivo V40 Pro can be appreciated for artistic bokeh.

Winner: OnePlus 13r
Selfie
The Vivo V40 Pro has fully maintained the content and background contact in our selfie test. In contrast, the shot of OnePlus 13R has low details with the wrong opposite level on the forehead.

Winner: Vivo V40 Pro
Low light
Now both are coming into low light test using the main lens of both handsets. While the outputs look great at first glance, the Vivo V40 Pro draws in more details than the view which is clear from the fast and back plants in the front side. In addition, the metal surface of the structure is crisp in comparison to OnePlus 13R.

Winner: Vivo V40 Pro
Low light (night mode)
OnePlus 13R rotates the tide by providing a better output when capturing the same view using dedicated ‘night mode’. In the shots below, the image of Vivo V40 Pro does not have several details as OnePlus 13R. In the foreground, white plant utensils and shrubs are slightly noisy at the V40 Pro and the lesson in the background at the ‘Entry’ gate is more wide at OnePlus 13R. As it can be, the shot seems to be better exposed to the Vivo V40 Pro.

Winner: OnePlus 13r
final call
OnePlus 13R emerged as the winner in this comparison, provided more consistent details and tone in various scenarios including tones, images, drawings, low-light and 2x zoom shots in various scenarios. However, Vivo V40 Pro was not far behind to excel in specific areas. It produced better details and contrast better selfie and ultra-wide shots. Additionally, its low-light performance was particularly strong.
Eventually, the option between the two depends on your choice. If you click on a lot of selfie and landscape shots, the Vivo V40 Pro emerges as a clear option. Otherwise, OnePlus 13R is a worthy option to consider due to its better primary and telephoto cameras.
