It seems that POCO is quietly preparing its next batch of F-series phones, the POCO F7, for the global markets. We recently saw the vanilla model receiving BIS approval, hinting at an India launch soon, while the alleged Ultra model was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA platform. Now, in the latest development, the potential POCO F7 Ultra has achieved FCC certification, revealing some hardware details.
The POCO F-series is the brand’s premium lineup aimed at global markets and offers models that are considered value for money.
POCO F7 Ultra spotted at FCC
- The FCC listing, as spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia, shows the model number ‘24122RKC7G’ and while the certification does not clearly reveal the marketing name, it is believed to be the POCO F7 Ultra.
- However, based on the first IMDA certification, the phone (24122RKC7G) was believed to be the vanilla POCO F7.

- The FCC certification suggests that the potential POCO F7 Ultra will be available in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB,

- Connectivity options may include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth BR/EDR/LE, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7.
- One of the FCC images shows Xiaomi’s statement saying that “LTE Band40/5G NR support for the N40, but will be disabled by software and is not available for the United States region.”
The report states that the alleged POCO F7 Ultra (if that is indeed what it will be called) could be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro for global markets. The Redmi phone recently launched in China and comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, a 6000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Redmi K80 Pro price in China starts at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,200) and goes up to CNY 4,999. (Approximately Rs 58,400) for the Champion variant.
Although POCO introduced the POCO F6 and F6 Pro earlier this year, only the vanilla POCO F6 arrived in India. It remains to be seen if the brand will make any changes in plans this time.
