Realme Buds Air 7 Review: Packed with features and great sound

Realme has refreshed its number series TWS lineup for 2025 with the launch of Realme Buds Air 7. Coming with an overhold design, new earphones are large on active noise cancellation, battery life and upper-end codec support. But how does it rent in real world use? After using TWS for about two weeks, here is my Realme Buds Air 7 review, which breaks the sound quality of the earphone, app features, ANC quality, and more.
Unboxing and design
Let’s kick the review with unboxing. Just after taking out the tray from the box, you are congratulated with a charging case of Realme Buds Air 7 in plastic wrapping. In this case there is a pair of earbuds with default earcrips and a reset button. Further digging in the box, you will find additional ear tips with user guide manual and warranty cards.
Surprisingly, Realme no longer bundles a charging cable, which was not with Realme Buds Air 6, which came with a white USB Type-A from Type-C Cable.
design
Coming into the design, Realme Buds Air 7 is a plastic manufacture with matte finishing in terms of air 7. The buds sit firmly in the case using powerful magnets, you may need some force to pull them out. We obtained the Ivory Gold variant of Review Buds Air 7 as a review unit, with a opaque lid unlike lavender purple and Moss Green variants. Other colors have a semi-transparent plastic lid, which can scratch more over time.
Realme has distracted by case design like pebbles found on the previous generations in favor of an jewelery box design. Earbuds, which are in-ear styles, have also received a redesign as they facilitate almost flat mat stem on the outer area and a shiny plastic on the inside.
The charging case consists of an LED indicator, which is opened and its battery shines red color when it is reduced by 20 percent. Back, “Hi-Race Audio” is a Type-C port with branding. It is worth indicating that there is no indent under the lid, which made the case extremely difficult with one hand. It is also done with flat design that is not as severe as cases such as pebbles.
Relaxation, fit and touch control
Realm Buds Air 7’s earbuds are compact and light and do not stick much when worn. Even with use for long periods, such as two to three hours, earbuds did not cause pain or discomfort. Tapping controls were reliable and every time I double-tap or triple-tap, to play music at the top of the yearbuds’ stem or switch on the next/rear track respectively.
Glasses, features and apps
Realme Buds Air 7 is included in the major specifications 12.4 mm dynamic bass driver, Smart active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 52DB Using six Mics, 45MS Super-Low Delay (Using game mode), Google Fast Pair, 360-Digry spatial audio, tap control, Bluetooth version 5.4, LHDC 5.0, SBC and AAC Code, and IP55 Resistance to dust and water for earbuds.
To reach the vast variety of TWS proposals, users have to download the available realme link app, play store And app Store And sign up using a realme account. Realme phones can reach all functionality and controls within Bluetooth settings. You can see the battery percentage and enable ANC or transparency mode after opening the app.
I have covered core sound-related features in the ‘Sound’ section; Meanwhile, there are other functionalities that provide apps and my experience of using them:
- Higher Language Sound: Enable it to listen to music using LHDC 5.0 codec.
- Volume Anhansar: Although Realm Buds Air 7 provides extremely high sound at the maximum volume level, this feature further increases the sound. I often did not use the feature during my use because the default volume was more than enough.
- Spatial audio: This option creates an immersive sound environment in which you will be able to listen to tunes, vowels and equipment from all directions. In my experience, the music was distorted by enabling the spatial audio and the essence of the songs was interrupted.
- Dolby Atomos: If your phone supports this, this option opens the Dolby Atomos settings.
- Dual-device connection: You can connect two devices to TWS and stop the audio on one and switch between them. This feature worked innocent between my phone and laptop.
- game mode: Enabling it reduces delays so that the scene and sound are sync with the games simultaneously.
- Earbad Fit Test: Realme Buds Air 7 can be replaced to produce the best sound quality based on your ear canals.
- In-age detection: Audio is stopped while removing buds from your ears.
- Button Settings: Both earbuds can be adapted to take an action for double tap, triple tap, and touch and hold, which play/stop the audio, go to the next track, enable/disable ANC mode and enable/disable the game mode.
Sound and ANC
Realme link app provides frequency sliders to accommodate low, medium and high frequency levels to the granuli. To achieve more control over sound, “EQ mode” has predetermined sound effects like Lover’s evening song, Original, Pure bassAnd Deep bassThen there is also a custom equalizer, which is ideal if your phone does not have an in-built equalizer.
sound quality
Realme Buds Air 7 offers a balanced sound profile, which almost emphasizes climbing and MIDS with the right high. In the original sound preset, Bass is Thampi and does not bleed in vocals and traables. I said highness is almost correct because in songs such as dancing in the flames by The weekend, it was not emphasized as triple as it should be. This was more or less correct for other songs such as emptiness machines from Linkin Park, where vowels were clear, but the high ever felt so lacking.
Fortunately, increasing the high frequencies by equal to the Realme link made the sound profile perfect for my choice. For bass lovers, this TWS is done surprisingly well done, as it is porous, hardly hits and feels satisfactory. Sound experience was better than OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, which costs around Rs 3,000. This TWS mainly focuses on the bass, stating the mids and high again. On the other hand, Realme Buds Air 7, Vocals, Bass and Trable felt more sophisticated with a good emphasis on (with tuning).
ANC
Realme Buds is an active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 52DB of the main attraction of Air 7. I tested ANC capabilities by setting it in maximum settings. For its performance, ANC did a great job in cutting the sound of a roof fan and loud nonsense in public places such as metro and road traffic. However, the noise is not completely closed, and you can still hear mafled, high-loud sounds at a near distance, such as people are talking or cars are respected or passed.
Charging and Battery
The charging case of Realme Buds Air 7 is equipped with a 480mAh battery, while each earbud has a 62mAh battery. During my use, the case was capable of walking for about five days on the same charge on the same charge on using TWS often to listen to OTT content, YouTube videos and listen to songs with regularly enabled and disabled.
When both earbuds were fully charged, it took an hour to charge 10 to 90 percent. On the other hand, Realme has claimed earbuds and charging cases, when it is completely dry, it may take 120 minutes for juice.
Decision
Coming at a price of Rs 3,299 (without offer), Realme Buds Air 7 is loaded with features and functionalities that come in handy for day-to-day use, such as dual device connections, adaptable control, and in-air detections that I used myself. The sound quality introduced is crystal clear and balanced with a premium-level bass. ANC acts as an intention and closes the outer sound to a great extent. If you are in the market for a TWS for less than Rs 3,500, you can proceed with Realme Buds Air 7.
Editor’s rating: 8/10
Professionals:
- Crystal clear and balanced sound with a premium-tier bass
- Loaded with useful features
- Great battery life
- Comfortable fit
Shortcoming:
- Realme link requires sign up
- Spatial audio may be better
- It is difficult to remove earbuds from the case
