Amidst Realme GT 7 Pro gearing up to launch in global markets, the company seems to be working on the alleged Realme GT Neo 7, which might debut in China first and possibly expand to global markets gradually.
The 3C certification of the alleged GT Neo 7 revealed the fast charging details recently. More details about the Realme GT Neo 7 have been leaked on Weibo.
The Realme GT Neo series is the premium mid-range offering placed below the flagship lineup. The phones usually focus on offering premium performance and aesthetic designs.
Realme GT Neo 7 might launch soon
- Going into details, Weibo tipster, Smart Pikachu in the latest post claims the Realme GT 7 ‘series’ will debut before the end of this year, which possibly means in December.
- He further adds a new phone with a 6.5/6.6-inch display is under testing and will debut in 2025. However, the marketing name is not revealed.
- Another tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo said that Realme will soon join the mid-range competition and the first product from the new Neo series is the GT Neo 7.
- The word ‘series’ means there could be more than one variant, possibly the Realme GT Neo 7 SE (considering the company launched the Realme GT Neo 6 SE and Neo 5 SE earlier). He says the series will have a large screen.
- It’s possible that the standard Realme GT Neo 7 might debut first and the Neo 7 SE might get official at a later date.
- DCS claims the Realme GT Neo 7 will have the strongest performance, strong battery life, and durable build with a waterproof rating. He says the phone will “sweep the mid-range” segment.
- Speaking of strong battery life, tipster Smart Pikachu in a separate Weibo post, without revealing the moniker, noted that a phone with a whopping 7,000mAh battery is coming next month.
- There are speculations that it could be the Realme GT Neo 7. If true, this will be a huge upgrade over the GT Neo 6 which has a 5,500mAh cell.
The Realme GT Neo 7 is tipped to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with flat edges and could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition, which is an over-clocked version.
The phone is tipped to get 100W fast charging but the 3C listing showed 80W speed.
Realme GT Neo 3 was the last Neo-branded phone in India so it’s not clear if the company would be launching the Realme GT Neo 7 in the country.
