As the Realme GT 7 Pro prepares to launch in global markets, the company is working on the alleged Realme GT Neo 7, which may debut in China first and possibly gradually expand to global markets. The 3C certification of the alleged GT Neo 7 has recently revealed information about fast charging. More details about Realme GT Neo 7 have been leaked on Weibo.
The Realme GT Neo series is a premium mid-range offering placed below the flagship lineup. Phones usually focus on offering premium performance and aesthetic design.
Realme GT Neo 7 may be launched soon
- Going into details, Weibo tipster, Smart Pikachu has claimed in the latest post that the Realme GT 7 ‘series’ will launch before the end of this year, which probably means December,
- He further said that a new phone with a 6.5/6.6-inch display is under testing and will launch in 2025. However, the marketing name has not been disclosed.
- Another tipster on Weibo, DigitalChatStation, said that Realme will soon join the mid-range competition and the first product of the new Neo series is the GT Neo 7.
- The term ‘series’ implies that there may be more than one variant, possibly the Realme GT Neo 7 SE (the company previously launched the Realme GT Neo 6 SE and Neo 5 SE). He says that the series will have a big screen.
- It’s possible that the standard Realme GT Neo 7 might launch first and the Neo 7 SE might go official later.
- DCS claims that the Realme GT Neo 7 will have the strongest performance, strong battery life, and durable build with a waterproof rating. He says the phone will be “widespread in the mid-range segment”.
- Speaking of stronger battery life, tipster Smart Pikachu, in a separate Weibo post, without disclosing the surname, revealed that a phone with a 7,000mAh battery is coming next month.
- There is speculation that it could be the Realme GT Neo 7. If true, it would be a big upgrade compared to the GT Neo 6 which has a 5,500mAh cell.
The Realme GT Neo 7 is said to have a 1.5K AMOLED display with flat edges and may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition, which is an over-clocked version. It is reported that the phone will have 100W fast charging but 80W speed has been shown in the 3C listing.
Realme GT Neo 3 was the last Neo-branded phone in India, so it is unclear whether the company will launch the Realme GT Neo 7 in the country or not.
