Realme has decided to separate the Neo series from the GT lineup. Realme VP and Global Marketing President Xu Qi Chase announced this on Weibo. The GT will be the high-end “performance flagship series”, while the Neo will be the “midrange e-sports flagship”.
The first phone of the new standalone series will be the Realme Neo7 in December. Xu Qi Chase highlighted the previous achievements of the GT Neo phone – the first 240W charging and 6,000 nit display in a realme phone.
He promised that the newly launched Neo series will have three key priorities – “cross-level performance, leading gaming experience and technological trend design.”
Realme Neo7 is coming in December
Realme Neo7 is arriving in December with a 7,000mAh battery and Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Leakster Digital Chat Station has shared a Neo7 AnTuTu score of 2.4 million – not far off the GT7 Pro’s 2.7m – suggesting that the Realme Neo7 will top the midrange in both battery life and performance when it arrives.
