Google Pixel 9A launched this march in India and became available to buy last month. Located as a more affordable addition to the flagship pixel 9 lineup, it comes with low-price tags and scale-down specifications. At a price of ₹ 49,999, Pixel 9A targets the cheap major section. But is it really worth the cost – or is it low in major areas?
In this article we will take a good look at the professionals and oppositions of Pixel 9A based on our detailed review, and help you determine whether you should buy or leave it.
Due to buying pixel 9A
Ergonomic design
Pixel 9A meets their flagship brothers and sisters, but leave the major camera bump, allowing it to relax the flat without immersed. It features a clean, minimal design in a compact form factor, which offers a comfortable in-hand feel and easy one-hand use. Matt glass back and brushed metal frames also add a soft, premium touch to the phone without slippery.

Reliable camera
Pixel 9A has a dual camera setup, including 48MP primary sensor and 13MP wide-angle lens. Staying perfect for the reputation of the pixel lineup for photography, the pixel 9A provides effective results, especially in daylight and indoor conditions. The primary camera captures well exposed shots with vibrant colors and fine details. The autofocus is sharp and reliable, while the video recording provides strong stability and dynamic range.
Better battery life
PIXEL 9A does not lead to battery life or charging speed compared to rivals in its value range, but it marks an improvement on Pixel 8A. It now packs a large 5,100mAh battery, which is above 4,492mAh in the previous model. In our experience, the pixel 9A lasts comfortably for an entire day and can also stretch at night when needed. However, a night’s charge is still necessary to start the next day with a full battery.
Due to leaving Pixel 9A
Limited AI features
Pixel 9A comes with 8GB RAM, which limits access to some advanced AI features of Google. Pixel screenshots and call notes such as tools, Pixel 9 and 9 are available on Pro, missing here. While Pixel 9A supports Gemini and Gemini Live, it does not offer a full suit of AI abilities found on its high-ended siblings.
Display throttles under stress
Pixel 9A tensor is powered by G4 chipset, the same you can find in the flagship lineup. When it comes to the use of the real world, the pixel 9A can handle the day-to-day functions well, but according to our use, you can notice some statues when scrolling through UI or some apps.

Slow charging speed
Pixel 9A sees a slight charging speed improvement on 9A Pixel 8A, growing from 18W to 23W. However, it is much slower than rivals that offer 80W to 120W charging. Additionally, the box does not contain any charger, which connects the overall cost.
