We have not reviewed the Redmi smartphone so we cannot comment on its performance yet or compare it with the Tecno Spark 30C.
We reviewed the Tecno Spark 30C 5G and found it to be more than capable for basic tasks like web browsing and WhatsApp. However, the phone does slow down at times, which is more clearly noticeable during heavy multitasking.

Redmi A4 5G sports a 50MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP depth camera. It has a 5MP front camera for selfie. Tecno Spark 30C sports a 48MP primary camera at the back with a triple-LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. In terms of specifications, both the phones seem equal to each other. We should know more after we review the Redmi A4 5G.
As far as the Tecno Spark 30C is concerned, its camera performance was quite surprising considering its price. The phone produces vibrant and clear images in bright conditions. Low light photos also come out quite good with less noise. Daylight selfies are perfect for social media but may look dull or blurry in low-light conditions. The Redmi A4 5G packs a 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The company will bundle a 33W adapter in the box. The Tecno Spark 30C 5G has a slightly smaller 5,160mAh battery with the same 18W fast charging support. Based on these specifications, you can get long battery life with Redmi phones. Apart from this, you also do not get a charger with the Tecno phone.
