Following its announcement last month, Xiaomi’s Redmi A4 5G has now been officially launched in India as the first Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone. The device will be available from November 27 via mi.com, Amazon India and partnered online and offline retailers.
The base 4/64GB trim will launch with a starting price of INR 8,499 ($100)While the 4/128GB version will go for INR 9,499 ($112)Both variants will be available in Sparkle Purple and Starry Black colours.
Redmi A4 5G in Sparkle Purple and Starry Black
The Redmi A4 5G comes with a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There is an 8MP front-facing camera inside the waterdrop notch and a 50MP main shooter on the back.
The phone boots Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 with two years of software updates and four years of security patches. The Redmi A4 5G is equipped with a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, although Xiaomi is packing a 33W charger in the box.
Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, FM radio, and a microSD card slot.
