The Redmi K80 series is official and the Xiaomi sub-brand has also announced a new smartwatch and TWS buds to accompany its latest and greatest smartphones.

The Redmi Watch 5 is the logical successor to last year’s Redmi Watch 4 and it brings a larger 2.07-inch AMOLED screen that now peaks at 1,500 nits. Xiaomi also trimmed the bezels and retained the 60Hz refresh rate.

The Watch 5 has an aluminum frame and a metal dial on the right side that allows you to navigate the UI. It is one of the first wearables to launch with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 out of the box.
Xiaomi is also offering an eSIM version, which lets you make calls and send messages on supported platforms.
Xiaomi claims that its new heart-rate tracking sensor offers 97.1% accuracy and you also get standard blood oxygen, sleep and stress tracking. The watch also has a built-in GNSS positioning sensor and tracks your general sports and activities.
The 550mAh battery inside the Watch 5 is now rated to last up to 24 days of normal use and up to 12 days with always-on display mode.

The Redmi Buds 6 Pro come with 11mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers paired with a 6.7mm piezoelectric ceramic driver.
Xiaomi has also updated the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that can reduce noise by up to 55dB. The Buds 6 Pro connect with Bluetooth 5.3 and support LHDC 5.0 and LC3 audio codecs. Battery life for the buds and their case is rated at up to 36 hours.
Redmi Buds 6 Pro and Buds 6 Pro Gaming Edition
Xiaomi is also offering a gaming edition Buds 6 Pro, which have 20ms latency and support the LHDC lossless audio codec through its special USB-C adapter.
