Control Z, a company that sells popular refurbished smartphones, has announced a four -day sale in India. During this sale, refurbished units of iPhone 12, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and OnePlus 9 will be available to buy less as Rs 11,999. These are renewed phones that have gone through many quality checks, and are claimed to act like a brand-new smartphone. Recently, Control Z sold the refurbished units of OnePlus 8T for Rs 9,999 and the iPhone 11 for Rs 14,999.

- Control Z has announced its ‘Future Friendly Fest’ sale, which will begin on 5 June, World Environment Day.
- This will be a four -day festival released until 8 June, and a phone will go on sale each day.
- However, the company has warned that stocks are limited so interested buyers should grab the phone while they are final.
- On June 5, the iPhone 12 will be available for Rs 21,999. Its price was originally Rs 79,900, and was launched in 2020.
- The iPhone XR will go on sale on 6 June for Rs 11,999. This is the cheapest phone in lineup. Apple launched the iPhone XR in 2018 for an initial price of Rs 76,900.
- The iPhone 11 will be available to buy on 7 June for Rs 14,999. This iPhone was originally launched back Rs 64,900 in 2019.
- OnePlus will be the final phone on sale on 9 June, and for Rs 12,999. This is the most recent in the handset lineup as launched in 2021. Its price was Rs 49,999 for the base model.
- Control Z has also participated with Unid for exclusive student exemption, and Oncard has offered up to Rs 1,500 on EMI.
Should you buy a refurbished phone?
IPhones are a popular option in India, although new models come to premium. The iPhone 12 (review), now priced at Rs 21,999, still provides solid value with its flat design, 6.1-inch display, A14 bionic chip, 12MP cameras, 5G support and IP68 ratings. Despite being about five years old, it performs reliable and does not feel old.
The iPhone 11 (review) and XR (review), now less than Rs 15,000, offers classic Apple design with round edges. The XR has a single rear camera and the A12 bionic chip, while the iPhone 11 contains dual cameras and the A13 bionic chip. Although they have a lack of 5G and modern features found in budget Android phones, they are the cheapest entry points in the iPhone ecosystem that makes them ideal for Apple fans on a tight budget.
OnePlus 9 (review) still holds well with its modern design and strong glasses: a 6.55-inch 120Hz Amoled display, Snapdragon 888, 50MP rear camera, 16MP front camera, 4,500mAh battery and 65W fast charging. At a price of Rs 12,999, it is a solid deal for 2021 flagship, although keeping in mind that it will not get updates beyond Android 14.
