Reliance Jio is reportedly upgrading its postpaid users from the Rs 199 plan to the Rs 299 pack

Apart from the reports of revising their prepaid value packs, Jio postpaid users who are on the Rs 199 postpaid plan will reportedly be automatically shifted to the Rs 299 plan. The Rs 199 plan was the cheapest postpaid pack that offered 30 days validity, voice calling and 4G data benefits. Jio’s postpaid base plan now starts at Rs 349. Here’s everything you need to know.

Jio’s Rs 299 postpaid pack

• Jio postpaid users who are on Rs 199 plan will be Allegedly Shifted to higher plan of Rs 299 starting from 23rd January i.e. tomorrow.
• Rs 299 postpaid plan offers users unlimited voice calls, 100 sms every day, and 25GB data per month. Rs 10 per GB will be charged for additional data.

• Compared to the Rs 299 postpaid plan, the Rs 349 offers better value, given that it offers more data and 5G unlimited benefits.
• Jio has not officially announced the reason behind upgrading its postpaid users to the higher pack of Rs 299, but it can be seen as a move to push its customers to higher-priced packs.

Apart from this, Jio also has a plan of Rs 349. Rs 449, Rs 649, Rs 749 And Rs 1549 Postpaid plans. The latter two come with access to popular OTT apps like the Netflix Basic plan and Amazon Prime Lite (valid for two months). All these plans offer 5G unlimited data benefits, voice calling on any network, and 100 SMS every day.
