The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is tipped to feature MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset and could come with a slim design, according to recent reports. This successor to the Galaxy S24 FE is expected to arrive in the second half of 2025, with a 6.7-inch screen similar to the current model. To achieve its slim form factor, Samsung may enhance the battery area while reducing its thickness.
Rumors suggest that while the standard Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, the S25 FE will likely use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, marking a shift from Samsung’s in-house Exynos processors used in previous FE models. Samsung’s new Fan Edition device is expected to be thinner than its predecessor, continuing the trend towards slimmer flagship smartphones.
This development mirrors efforts by other companies, such as Apple, which is rumored to be working on a slim iPhone 17 Air for 2025.
