Before we begin our blind camera test, let’s review these phones’ on-paper specs. Since it is a blind camera test, we have renamed the phones “Phone A” and “Phone B.” The names will be disclosed once the poll ends after a week.

These daylight pictures are captured from both smartphones simultaneously, to test their HDR capabilities, colour management, sharpness etc.
Ultrawide
We took these shots at our office to test how well the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold can handle distortion on the ultrawide lens, and apply perspective correction, colour consistency, HDR processing, and other elements.

The following zoom shots were captured in our office campus, at the same focal length and from the same spot.
Portrait
We took the following portrait shots from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, we matched the time and kept the same distance from the subject on both phones.

To test the colour management, focus, and HDR capabilities of the front camera. These selfies were captured from both phones at our studio.
Low light without night mode
These low-light pictures were taken with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold without using night mode, to test their low-light capabilities.
