There were some questions whether Samsung would launch the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series as an affordable alternative to the premium Tab S10 models – after all, the FE line skipped the Tab S8 generation and went straight to the Tab S9 FE.

It looks like new FE tablets are on the way and it comes from a trusted source – Samsung. Samsung is offering 1 year of GoodNotes for free with the purchase of the US Galaxy Tab S10 or Tab S10 FE.

Specifically, the proposal reads “Purchase and activate a Tab S10 series, or Tab S10 FE series device by 7/31/2025.” We probably shouldn’t read too much into the date, except to say that the Tab S10 FE slates will arrive well before then.

When can they launch? The Tab S7 FE pair arrived in mid-2021, with the two Tab S9 FE models announced in October 2023, so there’s no consistent timeline.

They may come out with the Galaxy S25 phones in January. Another possible launch date is with the Galaxy A56 as they may use the same chipset – the Tab S9 FE and Galaxy A54 were both powered by the Exynos 1380, the Tab S10 FE and A56 may share the Exynos 1580. The Galaxy A56 is expected in March.

The FE series may fill the 11″ slot that was left vacant by the Tab S10 models (which only come in 12.4″ and 14.6″ sizes), but Samsung’s official site doesn’t go into so many details. It’s called the “Tab S10 Saying “FE series” suggests that there will be at least two devices, so that’s true.
