Samsung Flagship 2025 TV Lineup: What is new
Samsung’s new flagship TVs come under three categories: Frame Pro, which is built around aesthetics; Qd-Ald, which provides deep blacks and high contrasts; And Neo Culled, which has high brightness and a wide color range. QN990F is a flagship TV with 8K resolution and a mini-LED panel.
Here is how these TV lineups are different:
Frame Pro TV
The frame is a QLD TV with a mini LED at the bottom of the Pro screen, offering some levels of local dimming. Even though it is possible with a full mini LED setup, the granular dimming levels cannot offer, the bottom should give the bottom better grant, black level and vice versa than the regular LCD screen of the frame.
The frame Pro also has a 144Hz refresh rate higher than the 120Hz panel on the regular model. This should be excellent news for gamers as they may experience the latest generation console. In fact, with 144Hz refresh rates, even PC Gamers can consider connecting their high-end gaming rigs to the TV.
Talking about connecting equipment to TV, Frame Pro TV has a wireless one connect box. Standard One Connect box that came up with the earlier frame TV was a separate box with all connection ports such as Power, HDMI and USB. This box would then connect to the TV through a thin cable which was almost invisible. The idea was that it would help ensure clean beauty that was going to TV. With the new wireless one connect box, things are taken one step forward, as there will now be almost no cable from TVS. Samsung noted that the new wireless one can work up to 10 meters through Wi-Fi 7.

Tv panel explained
QLED:QLED is an LCD technique from Samsung that uses a quantum dot layer at the top for an LED backlight (operated by lightning) and increased brightness and colors.
Qd-AlEd:It is an OLED display with a quantum dot layer on the top-covered pixel from Samsung and a quantum dot layer at the top. While OLEDs are known to its infinite contrast and black levels of the pitch, the QD layer improves glow and color accuracy.
Neo QLED:While most of the market focuses on OLED technology, Samsung is making Neo Clade the champion, which is LCD technology with a mini LED backlight. This means better local dimming and control over brightness and contrast.
RGB Micro LED TV:These TVs have a self-encompassing pixel with micro RGB LED (inorganic). Their LED size allows for better contrast control, and since they have inorganic LEDs, there is no risk of burn-in with OLED. However, they are very expensive.
