Samsung has not focused on bringing additional increases in charging speed to its flagship devices and has stuck to QI2 support with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Now the company has brought the latest technology of Q1 2.1 support with Galaxy S25 series devices.

Samsung gets lead in wireless charging over other smartphones

according to reportThe Galaxy S25 series are the first devices that are coming with Qi 2.1 devices which will provide some new changes that will improve the overall security of the devices. Meanwhile, if we talk about other Android smartphones, the HMD is one of the devices that comes with Q1 2.0.0 support, which is the previous generation.

Under this development, QI2 tech support will make way for 50W support, however, Samsung has limited it to only 15W. Notably, QI2.1 is the latest standard for wireless charging, which also brings the convenience of being used with the device’s magnetic case. Plus, it opens the door for Samsung to bring more powerful charging to its devices in the future.
