Q1, 2025 reviewed by 91mobiles

The first quarter of 2025 was quite interesting, at least to say. We were lucky to review six smart TVs in this quarter, ranging from 43 -inch budget equipment that provide impressive value of 75 -inch flagship TVs on a large scale that are pushing technologies to new heights. Not only this, but we saw some brands experimenting with new services and giving more options to buyers when it comes to their shopping.
This included Thomson’s new 43-inch QLD TV which is the first to come with Jio Tele OS. The new OS aims to offer a sharp, premium and content-rich smart TV platforms that uses AI to make the material search simple and comfortable. Thanks to the sheer amount of the material on the proposal, it makes it for a compelling option for buyers.
The streambox was also a 43-inch QLD TV from the media that provides TV as part of the membership-based model. Buyers pay low advance costs to get TV, and then have to pay monthly membership to continue using service. This is an interesting option for people with a highly tight budget to get your hands on a very decent TV.
Anyway, let’s get down for this and take a quick look at the TV reviewed TV. Note that they are listed in any particular order.
Thomson jio 43-inch QLED TV
Decision
If you are on a tight budget and are looking for a 43 -inch TV under 20k, you can consider Thomson 43 -inch QLD TV. It has Jio Tele OS, despite some bugs, works quite well. 400 free channels are a big plus. The quality of the photo is good for consumption of everyday content. It also has adequate connectivity options. Speakers are not best for mixed materials like action films, but they do quite good for everyday watching TV.

Infinix 40y1v 40-Inch QLED TV
Decision
Infinix is a good TV for streaming FHD content with 40y1v decent audio. Healthy selection of ports can mean more entertainment. But, as mentioned in the beginning, Infinix has made some interesting options for a budget TV. The largest of them is its software – Culita OS, which is light and responsible, but is severely limited in the availability of the app, which lacks Netflix and advanced customization. The absence of voice control and a dedicated setting button on the remote affects the front capacity.
These trade-offs will have more understanding at their introductory price of Rs 13,999. But now, at the current retail price of Rs 21,999, you have more options. Infinix has its own 43-inch 4K QLED TV available for low, although its performance quality is unused. There are also contestants with higher value or versatility on the proposal. For the beginning, you can get Android/Google TV with better app support, device assistance and privatization. However, if you all care about a quick and simple UI and decent visual visual experience, then you can consider this Infinix 40-inch QILED TV.

JVC 55-inch AI Vision Series QLED Tv
Decision
For approximately 35k, JVC TV competes with Black+Decker, VU, TCL, Acer, Redmi and many other brands. The mention of each brand provides competition in terms of picture quality, UI, audio and more, making it a difficult choice for consumers. What is going on for JVC is a good UI, decent picture quality, good construction and adequate connectivity options. Where it is lacking, there is a sound output to reduce mixed audio and HDR performance. If you are looking for budget TV for another room of your house or for consumption of basic materials, you can consider it.

Sony Bravia 9 TV
Decision
The price of 75 inch Bravia 9 is about Rs. 4.2 lakhs, while the 85 -inch version costs approximately Rs. 5.5 lakhs. Although it is undoubtedly a premium value, it provides stunning scenes, immersive audio and state -of -the -art features that fulfill both casual audiences and technical enthusiasts. The mini LED technology added with Sony’s advanced processing doubles the brightness of the OLED and similar black levels, making it a hypnotic option. If you are looking for a premium TV that excels in films, gaming and everything in the middle, then Sony Bravia 9 is definitely considering.
Of course, Bravia 9 is not the only premium TV on the market. You can consider LG G4, which excels with its OLED panel, compared to Sony Bravia 9. It also provides comparatively larger performance to go up to 97 inches as compared to Sony’s 85 inches. Then, it is even more expensive, and you will have a difficult time to find stock for big models. The Samsung S90 is another flagship TV that offers an OLED panel, combined with a super-superstate design and responsible hardware. However, it receives a premium price tag. Finally, Sony’s own Bravia 7 is still an excellent purchase. However, if you want to experience a mini LED without spending a luck, you can choose the option of the Hisense U7K series of Mini LED TVs, which are quite competitively prices.

Acer Super Series 43-inch 4K QLED TV
Decision
Acer Super Series 43-inch 4K QLED TV is an impressive offering that balances premium features with a favorable price of a budget of Rs 35,999 (on Amazon). Its smooth design, strong aluminum builds, and minimal bezels make it a stylish extra for any room. The vibrant qled panel provides excellent color breeding, although its limited brightness reduces HDR performance slightly.
The inclusion of Google TV with Android 14 ensures a smooth and spontaneous software experience, while HDMI 2.1 fulfills strong port selections, gamers and technical enthusiastic people equally. Audio quality is a standout feature that provides rich, immersive sounds that improve its competition.
He said, some are downside. The construction quality of the remote can be improved, and limited brightness in HDR content may leave some users more loving. Despite these shortcomings, the professionals of this TV removed the opposition, making it a strong contender for someone, who wants to upgrade their home entertainment setup during the festive season.
If you are in the market for a new television, the Acer Super Series is worth considering 43-inch QLED TV, especially for its excellent sound, strong design and gamer-friendly features.

Door tv
Decision
The membership model of Streambox Door TV presents a mixed bag. On the one hand, it provides low advance cost (Rs 10,799), a recession OTT app bundle (starting at Rs 799 for the first 12 months and then starts at Rs 299), and decent performance and audio hardware, which makes it appeal to budget-conscious users. However, the absence of Netflix and Google Play Store, and limited 4K experiences with included OTT apps may make some users feel that they are paying more for less. In addition, the previous-Gi product’s after-sales support and restrictive conditions of use can further limit its appeal.
Does Dor TV subscribe resolves fatigue or adds it to your viewing habits and preferences. While this initiative is appreciated as a novel attempt, its value may vary from the user to the user.
