The newly announced Apple iPad mini (2024) is now available for purchase, featuring several key upgrades:
- Storage: Starts at 128GB for the Wi-Fi-only model priced at $500, which is double the storage of its predecessor. A Wi-Fi + Cellular version is available for $650, with additional storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
- Processor: Powered by the Apple A17 Pro chip (similar to the iPhone 15 Pro’s chipset but with slight downgrades), paired with 8GB of RAM, enabling the device to run Apple Intelligence.
- Apple Intelligence: A new feature set arriving via a software update (iPadOS 18.1) later this month, but it will be limited to US English at first and will be available only in the US.
- Connectivity: Upgraded to Wi-Fi 6E (ax) for faster internet and improved USB-C 3.2 Gen2 support, which now allows transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, double what the previous model offered.
The Apple iPad mini (2024) can be found on Apple’s online store with these improvements, making it a more powerful and versatile tablet.
